Herbaceous plants grow easily, are tasty, and certain herbal feline remedies are not only adored by your kitty, but could also be very beneficial to her health (to not mention yours), and helpful for treating certain conditions she might have.

Herbs tend to not be difficult to develop and are worth the minimum effort, even if you don't get a green-thumb. Plus, some for your own personal cooking pot can develop also! Catnip

Oh, the king of cat herbs. Catnip is love by felines the world over, and for good reason, it makes them very happy. It is sort of like an after-work drink for cats, relieving them of anxiety and nervousness. Also, if your cat is always scraping, and seems to have itchy skin, a catnip "tea bath" can calm kitty's epidermis.

Cat Thyme

If your kitty does not respond to catnip kitty thyme may possibly just be you and your cat's best buddy. If you can endure its awful scent, that is. Kitty thyme has the exact same calming effects as catnip, with all the worker emotions of contentment. And a content cat is loved by everyone. If you do go for cat thyme, however, you you might want to pot a couple of crops, as they are very slow-growing.

Valerian

This pungent plant is best known for helping individuals get and to relax a great night's slumber. Not so for Mr. Whiskers. Valerian works as a stimulant on felines; great for altering lazy, fat felines in to exercise machines. Match this with the proven fact that cats really like ingesting the plant and you've got the right formula for a healthier, furry pet.
